I recently completed my PhD thesis at JADS / TU Eindhoven, supervised by Emmanuel Keuleers. My research sits at the intersection of natural language processing (NLP) and psycholinguistics — I work on tokenization, language model evaluation, and the conditions under which models generalise across domains and registers. Here is the summary of my thesis.
I am currently open to new opportunities. I am interested in continuing NLP research (generalizibility, input representation, language codecs, domain drift, quantitative-/psycho-linguistics), but also open to pivoting to fields such as algorithmic monitoring, speech processing, accessible language technologies, robotics, or prediction for energy grids.
